A huge chunk of today was spent staring at a screen full of loading/copying/rendering/downloading bars. This originally didn't have me in it, but I thought that having only loading windows was boring, so I plopped myself into the picture.
I am apparently very surprised and confused as to why I'm there in the first place.
A little Photoshop (HAPPY, VAL?) doodle inspired by an old Orisinal game with the same name. I used to put the game in the background just to listen to the music. :p

Spent a little bit of today crafting myself a Minecraft skin of myself. I don't actually have a green backpack or wear huge stylish headphones normally, but my character would be a bit boring otherwise. I'm pretty sure I'll be tweaking it in the future and if I do, it'll probably end up here.
(Yes, I know. I bought Minecraft. Yes, I'm quickly becoming hooked. Yes, it's bad.)

Watched "The Social Network" yesterday with Rae. It was good! Here's a pic inspired by a certain event in the movie.
Sidenote: This is my first attempt at doing something with Photoshop! I know it's probably unheard of, but up until this point, I've been doing all my art work in Flash and Fireworks and I think it's about time I learn how to use the "right" tool. It was really fun to work with and I'm actually really happy with how it turned out, so hopefully you'll see more Photoshop practice from me in the near future!
At my internship today, the director decided to move the over 150 mini-DV tapes + multiple hard-drives of footage I've gone through to an offsite location (in case of fire, robbery, alien abduction or something similarly catastrophic) so I had to plan out how to organize and categorize them all to make sure nothing gets lost in the transfer.
Managed to squeeze in time to draw a bit on my notes. :)
So it's 11pm. I need to take a nap so I can wake up and do more work (ugh) but I realize I didn't draw today.. So I scribbled a Pikachu. And then I thought, "oh, nap! Jigglypuff!" So there's a Jigglypuff there as well. K, nap time.
Had dinner/gift exchange with friends. Jacqui got a set of Sharpies. She got excited. This is her story.

Super busy running errands today, so I didn't have a lot of time to draw... I sketched this out while waiting for a web design meeting with one of my professors. Bubbles was always my favorite. :3
It's day four of my self-proclaimed 'Girls Week!' After struggling with the hairstyle of yesterday's drawing, I decided it'd be good to practice female hair styles!
I've since come to the conclusion that I cannot think of hair styles for the life of me. It's like you need to be a hair stylist/makeup artist/clothing designer in order to draw girls properly!
Also, don't ask me why there's an old lady in the picture. She was actually the first thing I drew, so I felt compelled to keep her in.
I couldn't figure out what hair to give her. ...She was bald for the longest time.
Definitely needs some work. Girls are just so difficult to draw!
... And now my desk is covered in eraser shavings. Great.

I actually had another drawing I made at my internship, but I left it at .. well.. my internship. Instead, here's a pic to make up for the horrible one I made yesterday.
I was driving back to SoCal and holy crap it was a horrible drive. That said, I did not forget my resolution! I drew this at a gas station as I was filling up.
I realize now that putting all these arrows and descriptions probably made the thing more confusing than clear, but eh! I also realize that I have no idea how to draw my car.
I drew a hamster munching on some seeds! Then I realized I probably should have drawn something New Years related, so I drew around it.
The hamster has a piece of confetti on its head. Or a Fritos corn chip. Hm.
